Refund Policy
Effective date: May 3, 2026
MemoriPress photo books are custom-printed for each customer, so the rules below describe when we can refund or replace an order. This policy is part of our Terms of Service.
1. Cancel Before We Send It to the Printer (Full Refund)
You can cancel an order yourself and receive a full refund any time before it has been sent to our print partner. Open the order page from your orders and click Request cancellation. We will refund the full amount to your original payment method automatically — no email required.
The button is visible only while the order is still in a pre-printer state. Once the order has been sent to the printer the button disappears, and Section 2 below applies instead.
2. After We Send It to the Printer (Limited)
Once an order has been sent to the printer, we can no longer cancel it for a change of mind, because production cost has already been incurred on our side and the book is custom-printed for you and cannot be resold.
After this point, refunds and replacements are not self-service — email support@memoripress.com with your order number and we will handle the request case-by-case. We will issue a refund, replacement, or partial refund in the following situations:
- Printing defects. The book has a printing error attributable to us — for example, a missing page, severely incorrect color, smearing, or a binding defect.
- Wrong product. You received a different book than you ordered.
- Damaged in shipping. The book arrived with damage caused in transit.
If any of those apply, email us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the issue (and the shipping box, if it was damaged in transit). We will review the case and offer a free reprint, a partial refund, or a full refund — whichever is appropriate to the situation.
We do not accept returns for change-of-mind reasons after a book has been printed, because each book is custom-made and cannot be resold.
3. How to Request a Refund or Replacement
Email support@memoripress.com with:
- Your order number (visible on your order page).
- A short description of the problem.
- For defects or shipping damage: photos of the issue and, if relevant, the shipping box.
4. Processing Time
Once we approve a refund, Stripe processes it back to your original payment method. Most refunds appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. Replacements are queued for printing as soon as we approve them and follow the standard production and shipping timeline.
